guilty for not drawing enough. i've mainly been using pencil; hopefully my trip to mexico will knock some colour into me.

face down, feet first.

some spreads from a 32 page children's book i made for my narrative project this year. it nearly killed me, especially because i was working with huge photoshop files. i didnt enter the macmillan prize but i might give it a shot next year; not sure if my heart is really in children's books. i hope so. i bound the finished book myself, some photos hanging around somewhere that i'll upload when i catch a hold of them.

i read somewhere that phantom pains never go away.

wanted to upload this watercolour i did whilst doing my kids' book, and also to say i have a few prints that i've done. (the image above and another '3D' looking one i dont have a picture of at the moment). if anybody fancies doing a little swapsie for one or if you dont have anything you want to swap and really want one then please message me, (eradicatejane@gmail.com), at the moment theyre sitting in my room and i never have been very good at keeping things nice and organised- its a matter of time before i find them scrumpled under the leg of my chair. theyre 2/3 colour hand pulled screen prints on different papers.

a little update really- some more paintings, a dumb pencil self portrait and one of the other things i did for my final piece last semester. trying to think of a subject for an artist book, its proving pretty hard...
